Pokémon Brick Bronze was a popular game made by BrickBronze Version. In it's time, it accumulated, 485M+ Place Visits, over 485K Likes, 1M+ Favorites, and several Bloxy Awards. It's lifespan however was on a limited ticking clock, and today it seems that it's time was up.

Pokémon Brick Bronze was made as a Roblox "alternative" to the popular game series Pokémon by Nintendo. The game mimicked it's gameplay features and used exact character copies of what the original series contains. This of course would put it under fire for copying Pokémon, and violating copyright.

Roblox's Terms Of Service Acknowledging Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights

By being a creator on the Roblox platform, Roblox expects that you respect Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights and that you won't infringe on them. If you do it will end up in the removal or deletion of the uploaded game or asset.

Roblox stating the disciplinary actions that would be taken for Infringement and Repeat Infringement

It's because of this that Pokémon Brick Bronze was deleted. In retrospect in order for the game to be "saved" it would have to undergo a heavy remodeling to distance itself from the Pokémon Brand and it's creations. This would also likely mean changing it's name and in-game sprites and characters. Sadly even then user progress would likely not be saved. Another way of the game being able to come back is if the creators contact Nintendo directly and receive exclusive permission to continue with the game. And that's a long shot to say the least.

Crescent Town in Pokémon Brick Bronze

This isn't the first Pokémon fan-game to be deleted nor will it be the last, but Pokémon Brick Bronze was the most popular so it does upset many, and is a sad loss to the game's fans and the Roblox community in general.

It's sad to see such a popular and loved game go down like this, and even harder for after 3 years of the community playing it and loving it, to say goodbye. Thank you to the individuals that put the game together.

It was a good game, but assets are assets so Nintendo was legally allowed to take it down. Such a shame too
